Data 2020 event key points.

Our 2019 SME GDPR Readiness Survey conducted in collaboration with the DMA has now been released, click here if you would like to receive a copy.

Google to move British users outside the EU?

So, Google are moving their UK user base out of the EU. What does this mean for business? What does this mean for you? Xynics Managing Director Mike Kilby, PC.dp, has produced an article on this, his thoughts about the future and how he would have advised Google if he were their Data Protection advisor.

What Xynics would advise Google

Privacy policies protect both the business and your customers.

If you read Part 1 of this series, you’ll know that we talked about how a privacy policy helps build trust with your customers and enhance the reputation of your brand when using personal data. The process of creating a privacy policy is such that it makes us think about what we do with data, and ensures that we communicate this effectively to those individuals and organisations that need to understand this.
