Engaging support really does help businesses comply with GDPR

Feb 04, 2020

In our 2019 SME GDPR Readiness Survey, we’ve noted an interesting pattern. Those businesses who engaged specialist advice are far more likely to have undertaken data audits, information security and data protection training, and are in control of their business data.

51% of SME’s told us they’ve already undertaken training or are planning to in the near future, and 42% told us they’ve increased information security.

Encouraging, but these are still very low figures for a modern digital economy and once again, the gap appears to be primarily in the Micro Business arena, those business with 10 or less employees.

The report that gave us these figures is due to be released week commencing 23rd February 2020.
