Only 60% of responders to our recent survey told us that they collect employee data and only 67% of those considered employee data applicable under the GDPR.
18% of responders were sole traders so won’t have employee records meaning that 22% of responders will have employees and as such should be ensuring those records comply with the GDPR.Further, 33% of those who do collect employee data also need to ensure those records are GDPR compliant.
That’s more than one in five SME businesses that really need support to ensure their processing of personal data on employees is GDPR compliant!
The report that gave us these figures is due to be released week commencing 23rd February 2020.
