In 2019, Xynics partnered with the UK's Data & Marketing Association, a champion of the way things should be done, through a rich fusion of technology, diverse talent, creativity, insight - underpinned by the DMA Code, a set of customer-focussed principles that all members follow, to survey the UK’s Small to Medium Enterprise Businesses about their GDPR Readiness.
We’re both pleased, and saddened, that the results appear to back up our reasoning behind conducting the survey.
We had observed in our daily role as Data Compliance Advisors, that smaller businesses just were not embracing the GDPR. They don't understand that it applies to them, what data it applies to, and do not have budgets to pay for professional support.
